Fender’s new Mustang GT amplifiers are *excellent* digital modeling combos. They are extremely easy to use, offer detailed tone settings, and are extremely lightweight.
We have all three models in stock:
- Mustang GT 40 for $249
- Mustang GT 100 for $399
- Mustang GT 200 for $599
Come into Music 6000 and give these amps a try — they are surprisingly great sounding. The models are good enough to trick you into thinking it’s a tube amp. Very well done!
The best part of the GT 100 & 200 is the stereo XLR out on the back. Wonderful DI system, sound amazing direct. We used a Mustang GT on this video:
That despicable Smitty is at it again — this time it sounds like he’s breaking our vintage Harmony H303A! Just kidding — this amp rocks!
We’ve used three silly effects pedals: Boss DS-1, EQD Sea Machine, and EQD Ghost Echo. Using a PRS SE 7-string model. Cascade Vin-Jet long-ribbon microphone on the amp 🎙 Bizarre tones, you get better performance with a Telecaster 😏
Louis showcases some vintage tones in this video!
We’re using a 60s Harmony Model H303A tube combo, just a 6″ speaker 😉 12 o’clock is where we put the amp.
Louis is playing a Fender American Professional Telecaster, going through a Tech 21 Comptortion in the beginning of the video, then a EarthQuaker Dispatch Master for slapback! Shure SM57 mic’ing it 🎤
The monumental Smitty plays a PRS S2 Custom 24 through a DigiTech Polara into a Fender Twin. Mic’d with a Shure SM57 & SM57 Beta, one on each cone. Mixed them pretty wide, some common ground 🎤🎙

The fifth round of the American Professional Series is here, starring the legendary shred pastor Smitty “Michael” Smith! 😉
Everyone needs to buy a bottle of Frine and get their frets looking brand new again! Wow! Just watch the video if you need convincing 😉 That bass’s frets were brown and oxidized, Frine took the muck away like that! 👍
See the bountiful bard Smitty spin a tale of seven-string rock’n’roll flops! Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers… 😉
This seven-string PRS SE is a sweetie — somebody buy it before I do! Amazing guitar, designed just right. The neck profile is perfect, a six-string player can pick this up and feel comfortable playing with the low B, very well done 👌
Playing through the new Fender Mustang GT 100 — wowee! This is one of the best digital modeling combos we’ve ever heard. What you’re hearing in the video was recorded with the XLR direct out in the back of the amp. I added some EQ shifts and put on a couple of digital compressors on in post — viola! 🎻
Can’t stop, won’t stop! Strummer extraordinaire Smitty can’t stop playing these Fender American Professional series — the new standard! 😉
This ash body / maple neck Telecaster is a fine instrument. The re-designed ashtray bridge is quite comfortable and works for everyone.

The indefatigable Smitty rocks into round 3 of the Fender American Professional series — the new standard! 😉
These are fun guitars with nice design improvements. The new neck profile is familiar, yet more confident; the narrow-tall frets facilitate a precision playing experience (a big upgrade over medium-jumbo); and the Shaw-wound pickups are very high definition and detailed.
Come into Music 6000 and play a American Professional series Stratocaster today! 🇺🇸🔨🎸
The illustrious Smitty showcases Fender’s American Professional Series — the new standard! 😉 These are great guitars with nice upgrades: Shaw-wound pickups, new neck profile, narrow-tall frets, and more. Come into Music 6000 and play one today! 🎸
Playing through a Fender Twin with a TC Electronic Ditto looper. Using an Electro-Voice RE320 large diaphragm dynamic mic on the left speaker and a Cascade Vin-Jeft long ribbon microphone on the right 🎙
See the incomparable Smitty jam through the Line 6 Spider V120 combo! The direct out on this is what you’re hearing. We did a pretty hairy gain tone for this video, but these amps can also do the cleanest of cleans 😉
